Catherine Allen Dead
Death last Saturday claimed Catherine Allen, 78, widow of the late Patrick Allen, at her Vermillion, S. D., home. Prior to removing to Vermillion, the deceased had lived in Gage county for upwards of fifty years. the remains will be brought to Beatrice for burial and services will be held Tuesday morning at ten from St. Joseph's church. Rev. R. L. Bleckert in charge and interment will be made in St. Joseph's cemetery, north of Beatrice. The surviving children are: Tom Allen, Steward, Nebr.; John Allen, Crab Orchard; Bernard and Edward Allen, Axtell, Kan.; Mrs. Mary Holton, Vermillion, S. D.; Cecelia Reddon, Lawrence, Neb.
