FRANK ALLEN FOUND DEAD

Filley, Neb. - Dec. 30-Special - When Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Allen, old residents of Gage county, living five miles east of Filley, arose this morning to find the dead body of their son, Frank, lying in the dining room.
Coroner Reed was promptly notified and arrived here this afternoon in company of John Trude. He decided to hold an inquest. He impaneled the following jurors: Edward Wilkinson, foreman; C. W. Hagerman, E. G. Crouk (sp), H. B. Metherson (sp), George Hazelion, Frank Warren.
Evidence introduced showed that the deceased was addicted to the use of liquor, and that he had been drinking heavily the last few months.
The jury was out but a short time and returned a verdict to the effect that death was due to alcoholism.
Mr. Allen was twenty-seven years of age and unmarried. He was well known in this vicinity and his friends will be surprised to learn of his death. He is survived by his parents, two sisters and four brothers. The funeral will probably be held Saturday.
