"Former Carbon Man is Dead
David Butts, formerly of Carbon, died at his home at Indianapolis Tuesday of Bright's disease, at the age of 55 years. The deceased resided at Carbon for many years and moved to Indianapolis about a year ago. For many years he drove the Carbon-Brazil hack and was also marshal of Carbon for a number of years. Later he embarked in the moving picture theatre business at Carbon.
The deceased is survived by the widow, three sons, a daughter and" (cuts off)
