Don Goble of Claypool, Indiana passed away at 2:10 pm Sunday, August 3, 2014 in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On September 11, 1937, he was born in Slick Rock, Kentucky to James and Beulah Jane (Sexton) Goble. He was united in marriage to Goldie Stephens in 1964 in Claypool, Indiana, who survives.

Don worked as a plater's helper for Warsaw Plating Works, retiring about fifteen years ago. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling and spending time with friends.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Goldie Goble, Claypool; his daughter, Donna Goble, Claypool; his son, Don Goble Jr. and his companion Staci Poe, Claypool; four grandchildren, Nicolette Shepherd, Ean Goble, Parker Goble and Paxton Goble; two sisters, Avo (and spouse Reverend Chad) Burkhart, Claypool and Brrdell Morgan, Kendallville and one brother, Eddie Goble, Kendallville.

Don was preceded in death by two sisters, Artie Slone and Clarine Ilene Slone and a brother Delmon Goble.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday, August 8, 2014 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Reverend Harry Crace and Reverend Luther Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.

Visitation hours will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the funeral chapel.
