Mason, Marilynn Ardell, 81, retired teacher, died Friday in Stroud. Service 11 a.m. Monday, First Baptist Church. Hutchins-Maples, Bristow.

Marilynn Ardell Mason was born January 13, 1933 to James Elmer and Cora Gertrude Mason in Mountain View, Oklahoma. She departed this life August 1, 2014 at the age of 81 years, 6 months, and 19 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, John H. Mason, one sister, Comella Sue Treloar and husband Russell, and one nephew, Johnny Whatley.

Funeral services will be held 11:00AM, Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Depew First Baptist Church with Reverend James Lame officiating. The committal service will be held at 4:30PM, Monday, August 4, 2014 at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain View, Oklahoma.

She graduated from mt. View public school thin attended oklahoma college for woman where graduated with a bachelors degree she stared her teaching caree at the Cheloco Indian school where she stayed for a number of years before moving to Ark city Kan. To at Winfield state hospital
In 1981 she decided to move to Depew to be closer to faimly.
She drove school bus for center area Vo-Tech amd delivered meals on wheels for the surrounding area.
Marilynn also enjoyed playing softball, as well as other sports,riding horses, spending time with faimly, but about all she loved the Lord.
Her faith in God is the legacy she leaves with her faimly.
She is surived by one brother,James R Mason and wife Joyce of Depew. Five nieces, Missie Plummer and husband Rick, Sheila Mason, Kim Vickey and husband Bobby, Wanda Gray and husband Eugene, and Rusty Wales; thee nephews, John treloar and wife Vickie, and Chuck Treloar wifewife Sissy.
