Mrs. Hattie Burdette passed away Jan. 12, 1927, at the Fred Wiesner home in Pine Valley, Clark County, Wis. Mrs. Burdette was born in Fond du Lac Co., Oct. 21, 1852. She grew to womanhood there, and was united in marriage to Charles Allen.
To this union four children were born, one of whom, William Allen, survives. Of this marriage she also leaves two grandchildren, Donald Lynch of Glendive, Mont., and Claude Wiesner of Intake, Mont.
Later she was married to William Burdette. No children were born to them. They made their home at Thorp. In 1913 Mr. Burdette passed away. After staying a year alone on the farm she visited among her friends for a time, and then came to Mr. Wiesner's home, where she remained until her death.
The funeral was held Saturday at the Congregational Church, Rev. Longenecker officiating.
