Gussie Cox, 64, of 5416 Cisna Road died Monday, Feb. 21, 1994, at Pekin Hospital in Pekin.
Born Aug. 29, 1929, in Kenneth, Mo., to John and Lillian Pritchard Robertson, she married Weldon Harkless in 1949. She later married Glenn E. Cox on Sept. 16, 1972. He died April 19, 1980, in Peoria.
Surviving are two sons, Robert L. Harkless of Groveland and Leonard "Chip" Harkless of Savannah, Ga.; and five brothers, Loyd of Clarkton, Mo., Logan of Dallas, Hal of Sikeston, Mo., John A. of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and John B. of Holcomb, Mo.
She was a member of the Limestone Democratic Club and American Legion Auxiliary Post 979 in Bartonville.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
