They had at least nine children: Bertie (Halcomb) Morgan, Gertie Marie (Halcomb) Polly, Minzel Halcomb, Carl Halcomb, Juanita (Halcomb) Church, Joe Thell Halcomb, Roy Lee Halcomb, Jewel Mae (Halcomb) McBee and Faith Flame (Halcomb) Branham Jones. After Johnnie's death, Oma married second to Jack Falls.
