He died from injuries received in a roofing accident fall in the late 1890's. He was only in his 20's was never married and suffered from epilepsy. He was employed by a Woodbury funeral director, while fixing a roof leak he suffered a seizure and fell. He was killed when he was impaled on a picket fence that surround the house. He is the only one of the 4 people buried in the Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery who's grave is unmarked without a headstone and a footstone.
