Timothy Allen Ponds, 52 of Waterloo, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Hospice of Laurens County.
Born April 21, 1962 in Florida, he was a son of the late Alvin Ray Ponds and Lorraine Owens Ponds. He was a former paramedic in Gaffney and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his son, Shane Ponds of Chesnee; brothers, Ray Ponds of Germany, Darrel Ponds of Spartanburg, Joe Ponds of Gaffney; sisters, Sue Batten and Kathy Greene both of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Jordan and Ryan Ponds.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the graveside service at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee.
The family is at their respective homes.
