Lesperance–
Enos Lesperance, 805 Pine St., Essexville, passed away at Mercy Hospital early Saturday evening following a short illness. Age 89 years, he was born April 28, 1879 in Anchorville, Michigan. Mr. Leserance married the former Elizabeth T. (Lillie) Groulx on November 17, 1903, who preceded him in death January 16, 1966. A retired cabinet maker, he was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. Surviving are five daughters and four sons, Mrs. Glenn (Rose) Verellen; Mrs. Mabel Schultz of Essexville; Mrs. Floyd (Ursula) Dack, Pinconning; Mrs. Thomas (Betty) DesJardins, Vassar; Mrs. Robert (Audrey) Carolan, Marysville; Reginald E., Bay City; Edward E., Ernest G., and Glenn J., all of Essexville. Thirty-one grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. at the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel and 9:00 a.m. at St. John's church, the Rev. Fr. J. S. Resch officiating, with burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Fr. Resch will lead the Office of the Dead, Tuesday evening at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Friends may call after 7:00 p.m. Monday.
