She married Willard Lee Dennison Jan. 12, 1946, in Pasco, Wash. The couple lived in Pasco, Boise, Idaho, and Fargo, N.D., a short time before moving to Moline. In 1948 they built their home in Silvis, where she resided until presently. Her first husband, Willard, passed away July 6, 1989. They had no children.
She married Jerome Tracy Warren, Feb. 14, 1992, in Ocala, Fla.
Irene worked approximately two years at Erginger's Bakery in Silvis, 1947 to 1949. She worked at Moline Iron Works from 1956 to 1960, then at Buddly L Corp. from 1961 to 1968. She was then a psychiatric nurse for 3 years before becoming a switchboard operator in 1974 at the East Moline Mental Health Center. She also worked at the East Moline Correctional Center from 1981 to 1984 before retiring. She enjoyed traveling, spending the winters in Florida, and also visiting her family in Fargo.
Surviving are her husband; five stepchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; brothers, Leonard and George; sisters, Blanche Sherek and Norma Stenerodden, both of Fargo; many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and -nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
