Ronald P. Sammons
Mr. Ronald P. Sammons, age 77, of Soperton died Friday, July 25, 2014.
Mr. Sammons was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County and was preceded in death by his parents, G.W. "Crockett" Sammons and Georgia Kate Cooper Sammons, brothers and sisters. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Agriculture and was a farmer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Soperton, and the R.A. Perry Sunday School Class. He served in the U.S. Army.
Services will be held in the First Baptist Church, Soperton, at 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, with the Reverends George Grimes and Russ Butcher officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Soperton.
The R. A. Perry Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
A visitation will be held at Sammons Funeral Home Sunday from 6—8 p.m.
