Mr. Gillespie was a resident of Houma La. and was employed by N. L. Bayroid for 26 years as a petroleum engineer and was self employed with Polar Auto Air Co. He was a graduate of Louisiana Tech College and a U. S. Army Vetern of the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandaughter Alison K. Savoie. He is survived by his wife Betty Ann Glover Gillespie, two sons, Mark and Ricky, one daughter Kim, one sister Rose Birdsong, and three grandchildren
