Mrs. Laura Crane, 82, died Wednesday (July 4, 1962) in Canadice following a long illness.
She was the widow of Scott W. Crane Sr., well known Livingston County attorney. Until earlier this year, Mrs. Crane had made her home in Dansville.
A graduate of Elmira College, she taught high school in Livonia before her marriage. She was a native of Waverly.
Surviving are two daughters, Ann of Dansville, with whom she made her home for several years, and Mrs. Lynn B. Roberts of Detroit, Mich.; two sons, Scott Jr. of Dansville, Livingston County district attorney, and Irving of Rochester, a former world's billiards champion; five grandchildren.
A funeral service was conducted Saturday in the Chamberlin Funeral Home. The Rev. C. Dalton Scott officiated.
