William Atkinson and his first wife, Phoebe Campbell Atkinson, were the parents of 15 children. In addition to the 11 children who have been linked in Find a Grave with William and Phoebe, they were parents of two sets of twins. Peter Atkinson and Mark Atkinson, twin sons, were born in November 1844 in Sackville, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, and died shortly after birth. Two and a half years later twin daughters, Priscilla Atkinson and Aquilla Atkinson were born in Sackville, Westmorland County, New Brunswick. We have not identified graves of any of these twins.
