Norman Nelson "Norm" Bewley, of Oklahoma City, passed away July 22, 2014, at the age of 83. He was born February 12, 1931, in Cordell, Oklahoma, to Paul & Mable Bewley.

Norm proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and retired as CWO2. He was an Aviations Electronics expert. Norm's field of expertise was electronics. He loved technology and computers. Norm always wanted to build websites. Norm fulfilled his desire to remain sharp and stay active. Following his military career, he began selling real estate. He loved it. In addition to selling real estate, he enjoyed remodeling and restoring houses. Norm and Rosa have owned and lived in sixty homes. He also bought buildings and restored them and would turn them into homes. He enjoyed the whole process of renovation. He kept busy – he never stopped and was always on the move. He would work all day and then mow at night. He had one hobby and that was doing for his family. Norm loved his family and was extremely close to them.

He enjoyed traveling with them and to the very end. They continued to take family trips together. Norm truly believed that charity began at home. He was the driving force of his family. Norm wasn't just a dad to his kids – he lost a son, and became a father figure to his grandson and granddaughter, and was a role model and was there for them. He would help anyone that would help themselves. Norm was well-respected and deeply loved by his family as well as his friends.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rosa Bewley, of the home; 2 children, Rick Bewley & wife, Tracey, of OKC; Kathy Griffith & husband, Steve, of OKC; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; 2 sisters; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Norm is preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Phil Bewley.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 28, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Moore. Interment to follow at Czech Cemetery, OKC.
