Bennett, D. D. (Davis Dimock) (July 16) 1834 – 1901 (April 29), buried May 1, 1901
He was the son of Ferris and Nancy Black Bennett.
He was married first to Harriet Hoadley, by the Elder D. D. Gray August 28, 1861. Harriet was the daughter of Peleg and Polly Hoadley.
She died about November 1, 1863, and is buried in the Fowler Hill Cemetery. There were two children by his wife Harriet Hoadley: Chester, who married Minnie Roxy Hogeboom, and Charles that died young and is buried with his mother in the Fowler Hill Cemetery.
D.D. Bennett married second, November 11, 1868 to Mary Cornelia Very at her parents' home in Fairdale, PA She was the daughter of Russell and Lucy Wood Very, born February 15, 1837 in Susquehanna County and died June 15, 1877 in Pike Township. Mary Cornelia Bennett was laid to rest in the Fairdale Cemetery with her parents.
Children: by Mary Cornelia Very: Wavie S. married Chester Culver, Very D. married 1st to Mary Lucina Woodruff and 2nd to Florence James Howland Place, and Annis who married Marion C McLaud.
D. D. married third to Harriet Hall 1857 – May 12, 1922. (Headstone reading) Harriet was actually born in September 1858. Hattie is buried in Beaver Meadows.
Children of D. D. Bennett and Harriet Hall: Byron, Vesta who married Bruce Dimon, Floyd, Ferris, Bradley and Ethiel.
The death of Harriet Hall Bennett is recorded as Harriet Loudman.
