Ella Sayler, 86 of West Fargo, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Sanford Health Palliative Care in Fargo.
Ella was born in Greenway, SD on November 24, 1927 to Andrew and Emelia (Zimmerman) Diede. She grew up and attended school in Venturia, ND. She married Walter Sayler on November 11, 1948 in Greenway, SD. After their marriage they lived in West Fargo and Venturia, ND and returned to West Fargo in 1957 where she has lived since.
Ella enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a deep faith in the Lord and loved attending Brookdale Baptist Church in Moorhead.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Dale and siblings, Andrew Diede, Julius Diede, Arthur Diede, Edward Diede, Reinhold Diede, Martha Heinreichson, Christ Diede, Clara Diede, Albert Diede and Edwin Diede.
Ella is survived by her children, Jerry Sayler, Duane (Kathy) Sayler; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Loretta Merkel and Verna (Earl) Sjoquist.
