Mr. Clebe C. Gardner
Death always brings sadness and sorrow into the hearts and homes of loved ones and friends of the deceased but oftentimes this feeling does not extend beyond these confines. in the case of the death of Mr. Clebe C. Gardner which occurred at 3:15 o'clock Saturday morning, however, there is universal regret because of his popularity. Mr. Gardner was in the prime of young manhood and all of his life had so deported himself that he made a friend out of every one who knew him.

For several years he has been in bad health and every thing that money and skill could accomplish had been used in his behalf but without avail and death relieved him of his suffering at the hour named.

The deceased was the second son of Mr. J. W. Gardner well known and very popular throughout the county.

The funeral services were conducted from the family home at 4:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, and his remains were laid to rest in Friendship Cemetery with Pythian honors; he being a prominent member of the local lodge of that order.
