BRANCHLAND -- Riley Clay, 68, of Branchland, Lincoln County, died Wednesday in a Huntington hospital.
He was a retired miner and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving: wife, Blanche Smith Clay; sons, Riley Jr. of Pleasantville, Ohio, Franklin D. of California, Douglas D. and Roger D., both of Branchland; daughters, Mrs. Martina Lusk of Amhurst, Ohio, Mrs. Junie Robinson of Warsaw, Ky., Mrs. Vada McCallister of Chesapeake, Ohio, Mrs. Marcella McCoy of Owosso, Mich.; brothers, Frank of Morrisvale, Elbert of Griffithsville, Seymour of Orgas, Jim of Virginia, Robert of Cicero, 111.; sisters, . Mrs. Mary Burkes of Ceredo, Mrs. Stella Smith of Woodville, Mrs. Ellen Elkins and Mrs. Cosby Tooley both of Seth; 30 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, with Minister J. W. Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in Barker Cemetery.
