Elsie Clayton, 92, of Kensett passed away July 15, 2014. Born February 28, 1922 in Wolf Bayou, Arkansas to the late Tom and Lillie Martain Higgs. She was preceded in death by a sister Mable Hawk and a brother Frank Higgs.
Elsie is survived by her husband Amous Clayton; a son Danny Clayton (Kina)of Hot Springs, AR; three daughters Patsy Lewis of Griffithville, AR; Carolyn Turpin (Kenneth) of El Paso, AR; Susan King (Allen) of Pangburn, AR ; a sister Rosa Long of Heber Springs; a niece Betty Spinks of Heber Springs; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8pm with the Funeral service Friday at 10:00am in Olmstead Chapel. Bro. Samuel Wildman and Bro. Kenneth Roland, Jr. will officiate. Interment will be at Magness Cemetery.
