From Ancestry Family trees,Find-A-Grave and James Harrison Gunter's Mo. Death Certificate I found that James Harrison was buried in Souder Cemetery in Ozark Co., Mo and then, also found the mother of Cleo, Clara A. "Carrie" Belcher's memorial in that cemetery on Find-A-Grave.
So, the parents of Cleo Thomas Gunter were James Harrison Sherman Gunter and Clara A. "Carrie" Belcher Gunter.Suggested edit: From Douglas County Herald:
Funeral services for Cleo Thomas (Tom) Gunter, 62, of Ava, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today (Thursday) at the Simmons Funeral Home with Rev Noel Scott officiating. Burial will be in the Murray Cemetery under direction of Simmons.

Mr. Gunter died at 12:30 p.m. Monday at his home, following an apparent heart attack.

Cleo Thomas Gunter was born September 25,1918, in Howell county, a son of Sherman and Carrie Belcher Gunter. A lifelong resident of this area, he had been a farmer.

He and Louella Mae Clark were united in marriage on September 24, 1938, in Douglas county. Mrs. Gunter survives at the family home.

Other survivors include two sons, Tommy and Dallas, both of Ava; three daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Holman, Mrs. Donna Shelton, and Mrs. Carrie Ann Berry, all of Ava; three brothers, Gail and Ophus, both of Brixey, and Carl of Ava; and a half brother Wilburn, of West Plains. Eleven grandchildren and one great-grandson also survive.

Mr. Gunter was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
