Anna C. Creeden Obituary -- Marysville Globe, December 24, 1970

Anna C. Creeden, 72, of 1524 6th St., Marysville, died Dec. 19, 1970 in an Arlington nursing home.
She was born May 8, 1888 [1898] in Wisconsin, and had lived in Marysville since 1937. She taught school in Marysville for 25 years, retiring in 1962. She was a 50 year member of Monroe Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
She leaves a son, James C. Creeden of Marysville; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Steele and Mrs. Ruth Hovland, both of Seattle and four grandsons.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday in Schaefer Funeral Home, Marysville, with Rev. Joel Egge, of the Lutheran Brethren Church of Marysville officiating. Private cremation will follow at View Crest Abbey in Everett.
Friends wishing may make memorials to the Cancer Fund.

Anna's Son, James Clyde Creeden Obituary -- The Herald (Everett), 31 March 2009

James Clyde Creeden, of Marysville, WA, age 81, passed away March 25, 2009, after a long battle with Parkinsons. He was born in Everett, WA on October 3, 1927 to Clarence and Anna Creeden. He graduated from Marysville High School in 1945. After graduating, he enlisted in the Navy, where he served as an aeromechanic, He was discharged in 1947.
He married Vivian Smith in 1950; they were married for 59 years. They built their home in Marysville in 1956, where he lived until his death. He worked for Simpson Paper Company (Everett Pulp & Paper) as a printer from 1950 until the mill closed in 1972. He then worked for the Marysville Globe as a pressman. In 1975, he went to work for the Everett General Hospital, working in the Purchasing Department. He retired from there in 1990. He and his wife enjoyed camping and traveling in their RV, taking many trips around the states.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian; four sons, Michael (Sylvia), David, John, and Richard (Cheryl); and two granddaughters, Kelsey and Jodi; also his brother-in-law, Ronald Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., on Friday, April 3, 2009, at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, 804 State Ave, Marysville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Parkinsons Association, PO Box. 75169, Seattle, WA, 98125-0169.
