James Clyde Creeden, of Marysville, Washington, age 81, passed away March 25, 2009, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born in Everett, Washington on October 3, 1927 to Clarence and Anna Creeden. He graduated from Marysville High School in 1945. After graduating, he enlisted in the Navy, where he served as an aeromechanic, He was discharged in 1947.

He married Vivian Smith in 1950; they were married for 59 years. They built their home in Marysville in 1956, where he lived until his death. He worked for Simpson Paper Company (Everett Pulp & Paper) as a printer from 1950 until the mill closed in 1972. He then worked for the Marysville Globe as a pressman. In 1975, he went to work for the Everett General Hospital, working in the Purchasing Department. He retired from there in 1990. He and his wife enjoyed camping and traveling in their RV, taking many trips around the states.
