Services for Laura Stanton, 74, of Abernathy will be at 4 p.m. today in the Abernathy Church of Christ with David Bennett officiating.
Burial will be in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy.
She died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998, in Lubbock's Methodist Hospital.
She was born in Greenville on March 16, 1924. She married Harold Stanton in Clovis, N.M., on Oct. 30, 1941. She moved to Abernathy in 1945 from Lorenzo. She was a member of the Church of Christ and had been a beautician.
