She was born Feb. 12, 1907 at Colfax, Wash., to Aaron B. and Grace Jane Hayes Nordyke.
She married Albert Linder in 1933. He died May 14, 1964.
She later married Hawley Phelps Nov. 25, 1972. He died Nov. 21, 1975.
She was educated in Lewiston, where she received her teaching certificate at the Lewiston Norman School. She taught school in the Montpelier area for many years.
She was an active member of the LDS Church.
She is survived by one stepson, Earl Linder, Vancouver, Wash.; one step-brother, Walter Nordyke; two nieces, Della Jane Rimmelspascher, Pomeroy, Wash.; Helen Edmonson, Lewiston; and one nephew, Norval Nanik, Clarkston, Wash.
Funeral services were Tuesday at the Matthews Mortuary Chapel. Burial was at the Montpelier Cemetery.
