Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Mable Barnes Lords, age 90, passed away Aug. 24, 2002.

Born July 22, 1912 in Blackfoot, ID to Oscar and Mary Ellen Bennett Barnes. Married James Merlin Lords March 18, 1936 in Idaho Falls, ID. Solemnized Dec 7, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 9, 1978. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving in Relief Society and a long time temple worker. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting for family and friends, and loved to travel.

Survived by her children, LaVar (Sharon) Lords, Laren (Carol) Lords, Arva (Joe) Anderson, Sherry (Denny) Case; son-in-law, James Byrnes; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and brothers, Reed, Merlin Barnes. Preceded in death by two daughters, DeeAnn Byrnes, and Ronda Lee Lords.

Services will be Wed. Aug 28, 2002 12 noon, Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1950 E. 10600 S, where friends may call Wed. 10:30 a.m.-12 noon. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
