In 1913, on August 1, in Ellensburg, Lillie was born to Nettie May (nee Dickens) and Rufus Marion Hurst.
She moved with her family to Lind, Wash, where she attended school.
She also attended school in Sunnyside.
In 1933, on March 19 in Yakima, WA, she married John Ulysses Stebbins (d. 1958).
In 1935, they lost a daughter, Lorraine Idona Stebbins.
In 1942, she returned to Ellensburg.
In 1954, on Oct. 2 in Sunnyside, WA, she married Jack Sebade.
She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
Until retiring in 1962, she worked at the Model Laundry.
In 1960, on May 14, in Ellensburg, WA, she married Earl W. Hanson, and he preceded her in death in 1972, on Jan. 22.
In 1967, her son Furl Stebbins married Nora Jane Albrecht.
In 1968 and 1974, she gained Stebbins grandchildren.
Lillie's last couple of years, she was in ill health.
On Dec. 15, 1981, she entered Gold Leaf Nursing Home.
Lillie M. Hanson, 68, of 305 Dennis St, Ellensburg, died Tuesday at Gold Leaf Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Evenson Chapel.
The Rev. Donald Meekhof officiated and burial followed at High Valley Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Ferl Stebbens of Portland, OR. (d. 1987);
four brothers: Leonard Hurst, of Yakima, and Clarence, Clifford and Earl Hurst, all of Kelso,
and one sister Evelyn Baumgarten, of Sunnyside.
