ADAM RIGBY SR. DIES AFTER ILLNESS
Adam Rigby Sr., 83, RD 1, Moscow, died Thursday in Community Medical Center after an illness.
Born in Dunmore, son of the late Thomas and Margaret Robertson Rigby, his widow is the former Jennie Barclay. He resided in Moscow 35 years and prior to his retirement 23 years ago, he was employed by the Pennsylvania Coal Co. as a track man.
Other survivors are two sons, Adam Jr., Moscow; Arthur, Sterling; four sisters, Mrs. Maude Clemens, Sparta, N.J.; Mrs. Ann Opeckun, Jessup; Mrs. Minnie Snedecker, Carbondale, and Mrs. William Jones, Little Rock, Calif.; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral weill be Saturday at 2 p.m. fcrom the Snowdon Funeral Home, Inc., 401 Church St., Moscow, with services by Rev. Edgar Brill, Moscow, United Methodist Church. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst. Friends may call 3 to 5, 7 to 9 p.m.
