Ann Murphey Priddy, age 90, of Piperton, Tenn., passed away peacefully on July 11, 2014.
She was born May 22, 1924 in Rossville, TN to Walter William and Freddye Farley Murphey. Ann graduated from Collierville High School and attended Blue Mountain College. She was preceded in death by her 3 sisters, Dora Elizabeth Whitworth, Mary Jane Oakes and Nancy Bulle.
Ann and her late husband, Charles, were faithful members of Collierville Christian Church. She helped run a family owned cotton gin, a business farm operation for more than 60 yrs. Ann was the loving mother of Chuck (Valerie), Walter (Trina), Charlotte (Mariano), and Susan, her 7 grandchildren Anna (Jon), Rachel (Mike), Sarah (Matt), Charlie, Daniel, Alex, and Brad and 3 great granddaughters Ellie, Sofia, and Olivia. We were blessed to have such a wonderful example of a Godly woman and loving mother. She traveled across the county to visit them in Sevierville, Hendersonville, Miami and Portland.
Mrs. Priddy will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN, 38119 with a private graveside service for her children.
