Leonard Frauen, 56, passed away at his home north of Lone Tree on Sunday.
Mr. Frauen was born in Walcott, Iowa, July 12, 1908, the son of Geo. and Henrietta Frauen. He married Genevieve Hora, November 20, 1945 and lived in Walcott before moving to Lone Tree where he was engaged in farming.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the American Legion.
Surviving are his widow; a step-daughter, Mrs. Joanne Goody of Dallas, Texas, ten brothers and sisters and six grandchildren.
The rosary was recited at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the McGovern-Dwyer Funeral Home in Iowa City, with the funeral services in the St. Mary’s Church in Lone Tree at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. Burial was in the Lone Tree Cemetery.
