Leah enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She volunteered at the Helping Hands Outreach Center in Beaverton for 22 years.
She is survived by her children Dave Nimphie, Darlene & Bill Oard and Pat & Kaye Nimphie; 11 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren; a sister Alta Hedrich. She was preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Jean Fishtorn; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday July 26, 2014 at 11 am from the Beaverton Church of God with Pastor Elwyn (Pastor Mac) MacDonald presiding with internment at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Battle Creek, Michigan.
