Theodore E. Brown, 69, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, in the Clarinda, Iowa Hospital, where he had been a patient for about 10 days. Services will be at 11 :30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, in the Shum-Novinger Funeral Home, Bedford, Iowa. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Brown was born Aug. 29, 1900, near Mound City, the son of Robert S. and Anna Wicker Brown. He attended the Blair and Bagby Country schools, and was a member of the First Christian Church here. The past 30 years he had resided in Iowa. He was married to Miss Irene Kite of Craig, who died in March, 1967. His parents, three brothers, Claude, Maurice and Delbert preceded him in death.

Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Ralph Kinney, Mrs. Francis Marti, and Mrs. Don Edwards, M.C. and Mrs. Florence Berker, Arizona, and two brothers, Walter Brown of Mound City and Robert Brown, Long Beach, Calif, and many nieces and nephews.
