Mrs. Mabel (Fred) Boyd, who had been a member of Plymouth Church for over 30 years, passed away in the Madison General Hospital at 3:15 PM, Thursday, September 14, 1967. Funeral services will be held in the church on Monday, September 18, at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Coffee and light refreshments will be served in the church following internment to out of town guests and to her many friends. As long as she was physically able, Mrs. Boyd was a regular in attendance for worship services and also, was a most able and willing worker in the Women's Fellowship, especially with the former Evening Guild. Several years ago she purchased the bulletin board which hangs outside the church at the Atwood Avenue entrance, which enables us to post sermon topics, or other items of interest. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and leaves us with the memory of a gracious lady, who followed Christ's teachings to the best of her ability and understandings. Visiting hours will be this afternoon and evening in the Gunderson Funeral Home.
