Ross Lindsey, 83, formerly of West Salem, passed away Sunday, August 26, 1979 at the Burgin Manor No. 1 in Olney.

Military services were held at the graveside in Shiloh Cemetery with Bro. Homer Longbons officiating. Military services were conducted by the West Salem American Legion Post 698.

Ingram Funeral Home of West Salem was in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Coleman of Rt. 1, Albion. His also had one daughter, Ella Mae.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Clarence and Forrest; four sisters, Martha Balding, Grace Chitty, Dora Balding and Ruth Brokelmyer.

Born May 4, 1896 in Edwards County, he was the son of Kurg Lindsey and Martha Ackley.
