Harold J Raymond, 45, of 292 Adams St., Agawam, died in his home Tuesday. He was born in West Springfield and moved to Agawam as a young boy. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of St John the Evangelist church, Catholic Men's Club of Agawam, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1632, American Legion Post 207 of West Springfield, Agawam Sportsmen's Club, and Springfield Bridge Club. He leaves his wife, Theresa (Fleming) Raymond, five sons, a daughter, his mother Mrs Alice [Nellie] Raymond of Florida, two brothers Charles G of Springfield and Robert E of Milton. A military funeral, under the auspices of VFW Post 1632, with be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Dalton Funeral home, followed by a requiem mass at St John the Evangelist church. Burial will be in Agawam Center Cemetery...
