In 1900, the family moved to the Bailes farm north of Seymour and there Willie made her home until she moved to Meridian in 1945.
On 26 December 1911, Willie Bailes married John W. Olsen. To this union, six children were born.
Mrs. Olsen converted and joined the Baptist Church at an early age. At the time of her death, she was a member of the First Baptist Church at Meridian. She graduated from Seymour High school and Baylor University where she was a fine arts major. Music, the church and painting as well as home demonstration club work, were life-long interests of Mrs. Olsen. She liked people and was always especially interested in the children of friends and relatives.
Survived by two sons - John Olsen, Jr. and Niels Olsen; four daughters - Mrs. W.R. McFarland, Mrs. Clive Lankford, Mrs. Dennis Baca and Mrs. Hugh Beaty; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers - Coleman and Dutton Bailes; a number of cousins.
Services were held at the First Baptist Church in Meridian. A second service was held at the First Baptist Church in Seymour. Interment was in the family plot in the Masonic Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers - Johnnye Bailes, her twin and Burnett Bailes.
