Marriage notes: Book 4, 331: JAMES B. MAY and ELIZABETH ANN TONELSON, 11-21-1850, by George Forrester JP. Seaborn B. May (LS). They were married at the home of the bride's father.

I previously had she died in Arkadelphia, Clark Co., AR, but a descendant of Florence May Sanders (dau. by J.B. May's second wife) says the family story is that his first wife went back to Alabama when she got really sick, so her sisters could take care of her, and died there. Her middle name was also updated to Annabel. Both her and her sister Martha used shortened versions of their middle names as Ann.
