Obituary from the Wayne County Press, 7/5/1906:

Nancy May Jones was born June 12th, 1886; Died June 10, 1906, age 19 years, 11 months and 28 days. Nancy professed faith in Christ at the age of 12, became a member of Sims Baptist church, and was a faithful and devoted Christian girl.

She was married to Arthur Barnard Nov. 5, 1905. Was very happy in their little home at Crisp during the few short months of her married life.

She left a loving husband, father, stepmother, two sisters, three brothers, and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her departure.

The funeral services were conducted by the ________ at Bailey church, June 11, 1906 in the presence of a large congregation. The remains were laid to rest in the South cemetery at Bailey to await the resurrection of the just.
