Nancy Jane Squires DeJarnette, age 94 of McQuady, KY died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at her residence. She was born in McQuady, KY on May 18, 1920, the daughter of the late Gideon T. and Mary Elizabeth Hendrick Squires. Nancy was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and helped in many ways including being a choir member and preparing meals for church events. She was a retired post master, a clerk for the Dyer General Store and enjoyed gardening and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold L. DeJarnette, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at Corinth Baptist Church on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 11 AM with Rev. Andrew Rupard officiating. Burial will be in the McQuady Cemetery.
