Mrs. Joe(Nellie Tomblin) Ausmus, died Tuesday at approximately 11 pm, in the St. Joseph's Hospital. Services will be held Friday at 2 pm in the Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Broome officiating. Interment will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery. She was born December 13, 1892 in Maxey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doc Tomblin. She married Joe Ausmus on March 28, 1915 and he preceded her in death on April 12, 1966. She was a member of the Church of God at Cottonwood. She attended school in Lamar County. Survivors include one son, Joe Ausmus Jr. of Dallas and five grandchildren.
