Bill was born July 5,1910,in Ray County,MO,to P.M and Sarah {Griffey) Clevenger. He was married to Alta Hall of Dawn, MO, on May 19,1929.Milton`s younger years were spent around Braymer on a farm. He was a Mason and a member of the Independence Avenue Baptist Church in Kansas City,MO.He came to Kansas City in 1951 working at Sheffield Steel,27 years before he retired. He was preceded in death by his wife of 76 years,Alta Clevenger on December 14,2004. Mr Clevenger is survived by his son, Norman Clevenger of Independence,MO;three daughters,Peggy Siebert of Lee`s Summit, MO,Donna Axsom of Independence,MO;Shirley Pollard of Liberty,MO;six grandchildren;16 great-grandchildren;7 great-great-grandchildren;and two step grandchildren. Milton was also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren,five brothers and four sisters. We will cherish the memories he created for us and we will miss him so very much.
