RANDOLPH FITZGERALD
Randolph Lee Fitzgerald, 52, of 206 Roosevelt, died in his home at 10:15 p.m. Friday after a short illness.
Born in Sandy Hook, Ky., Aug. 29, 1905, he came here as a boy and was a construction worker and dish washer.
He served in World War II and was a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are his widow, Clara (Zarr) Fitzgerald, whom he married in Crown Point in 1952; a daughter, Linda; a son, Randy Roy; five sisters, Mrs. Gladys Howe, 214 Roosevelt, Mrs. Dorothy Rowen of 1017 Kellogg, Mrs. Grace Glenn of RFD 4, Mrs. P. C. Brown of 257 Franklin, and Mrs. Ethel Gordon of Wanatah; two brothers, Oscar of Wanatah and Harold of 861 Kinsey; and his mother, Mrs. Sarah Fitzgerald of 206 Roosevelt.
His father, two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. L. E. Myers will officiate, and burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
Friends may call at LePell Funeral home from 2 p.m. Sunday until services.
