Mrs. Kirby was born in Lansing, Michigan and had lived in Memphis about 50 years. She was a Methodist. Her husband, Dr. John W. Kirby, died 15 years ago. Mrs. Kirby's father, Henry J Dunneback, a Lansing machinist, helped R. E. Olds build the first Oldsmobile.
She leaves a son, John W. Kirby of Memphis; a brother, H. J. Dunneback of Lansing, and a sister, Mrs. Theresa Dean of California. National Funeral Home has charge.
