William David "Bill" Savory age 62 of Yale, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 in Tulsa, Ok. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Assembly of God in Yale. Brother Randel Newby will officiate.

Bill was born on December 1, 1951 in Plainville, Kansas to Robert and Mary Ann (Jacob) Savory. He grew up in Moore, Oklahoma where he attended school, graduating from Moore High School. Bill joined the U.S. Army, serving his country during the Korean Conflict, while in the service he served as a drill instructor. Bill retired after eighteen years of service to his country. After retirement, he worked for Skinner Tank Company in Yale. He enjoyed everything outdoors, including fishing, hunting and shooting a bow.

Bill is survived by his sons Wesley Ryan Savory and Elizabeth Whittington of Yale, William Thomas Savory and Misty Agee of Keifer, Ok, brothers Glen Martin of Tulsa, Kenny Martin of Yale, and Terry Martin of Glencoe, sisters Helen Minyard of Yale and Joyce Dilley of Yale, grandchildren Cody and Samual.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Gerry Miller and Glenda Endicott.
