Walter McGlothlin, 87, died at 12:30 PM Tuesday, Dec. 20, 1994, in his West Lafayette residence. Born Jan. 13, 1907, he spent most of his life in Lafayette. He married Shirley Mae Lumm, at Dayton, on Feb. 24, 1941; she died Sept. 11, 1984. Mr. McGlothlin had worked for 11 years at Pearson's Conservatory at Purdue University as an animal caretaker prior to retiring. Surviving is a brother, Roy McGlothlin of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. There will be no visitation and no services.
