Doris Sears was born in Stafford, Virginia to the late Edward and Ada Boswell, and passed away on June 11, 2014 in Tyler. Doris lived with her husband, William Sears, in Henderson for the past 14 years. Mrs. Sears had a career with Civil Service working both for the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy in the United States and Japan. Doris enjoyed most the time she spent as an Office Manager. In later years, she served as a Church Secretary for Eastside Baptist Church. In addition to her professional life, Doris was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Doris is survived by her husband, William, sons, John A. Jenkins and Donnie B. Jenkins, daughters, Diane C. Jenkins and Melissa A. Haworth, 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Doris was predeceased by her son, Earl C. Jenkins. This precious soul will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Lakewood Memorial Park with Rev. Tommy Marshall officiating.
