GRIFFITH, REBECCA JANE WRIGHT
Rebecca Jane (Wright) Griffith, age 88 years, a resident of Lick Hollow Road, Hopwood, died at her residence on Saturday, September 4, 1976. She was born in Addison, October 11, 1889, a daughter of the late Howard H. and Jennette "Jennie" A. (Miller) Wright, and had resided in Hopwood since 1928.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Charles Victor, in 1930.
Surviving are seven children, Mrs. Gerald (Maxine) White of Hopwood, Glenn W. Griffith of Alexandria, Virginia, Nancy Jane Griffith at home, Dane Victor Griffith of Uniontown, Mrs. Dorothy Crawford of Uniontown R.D. 2, Mrs. Eugene (Helen) Blough of Canfield, Ohio, Mrs. Walter (Mary Lou) Grimm of Hopwood: one brother, Frank Cleveland Wright of Addison; thirteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Hopwood United Methodist Church, and was a member and teacher of the Arthilla Devan Ladies' Class.
Friends will be received in the Crawford and Hakky Funeral Home, Hopwood, today until 1 p.m. the hour of service with the Reverend Arthur Hummell officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Addison Cemetery, Addison, Pennsylvania.
