LEESVILLE - Services for Rev. James Bryan Jeffcoat, 50, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, 2005 at Old Lexington Baptist Church with interment to follow at 4:00 p.m. in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Pelion. Officiating will be Rev. Earl Hartley, Rev. Jay Black and Rev. Johnny Rumbaugh.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Senterfeit, Jr., Kenny Senterfeit, Sr., Greg Baker, Bryan Oswalt, Dr. William Johnson, David Lee, Chuck Redd, and David Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be Pastors of Lexington Baptist Association. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

He was the son of Dwen M. Jeffcoat of Pelion and the late James G. Jeffcoat. He was a Pastor for twenty years, and had pastored and was a member of Old Lexington Baptist Church for sixteen years. He was an active member of Lexington Baptist Association.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Jeffcoat of Leesville; son, Chris Jeffcoat (Jennifer) of Columbia; brother, David Jeffcoat (Lucy) of Springdale; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
